Trust Yourself to Be All In: Safe to Love and Let Go
Everyone leaves you or hurts you. This false myth of generational family dysfunction, compounded through trauma, appeared frighteningly true to Amanda the moment her brother overdosed and died. Devastated, she shined up the emotional armor she wore to protect herself from pain and soldiered on. But a decade of self-reflection and personal growth in 12-step recovery could not save her from herself. Attempting to destroy everything around her, including her troubled marriage, she experienced a spiritual awakening that radically transformed deeply engrained lies about love, loss, and connection. Lies she didn’t even know she believed.
Trust Yourself to Be All In: Safe to Love and Let Go is a pragmatic yet soulful inspirational memoir delivering uncompromising self-love that heals deep wounds. Amanda’s revealing, thought-provoking narrative will guide you to find comfort in your emotions and meaning in your suffering, while organically bridging an inseverable, trustworthy connection with self, others, and the universe.

Partner Bio I am a native New Yorker turned Coloradan, who masterfully combines urban insights with a nature-inspired philosophy in my approach to love and loss. An award-winning author, motivational speaker, certified intuitive grief coach, and energy healer, I launched my debut inspirational memoir, Trust Yourself to Be All In: Safe to Love and Let Go last year and I also host the Sol Rising Podcast, where we are all in on love, loss, and connection. In 2019, I co-founded the nonprofit Castle Rock Clubhouse in Castle Rock, Colorado, a meeting space for 12-step recovery groups. I’m a multifaceted enthusiast of horses, drumming, running, dancing, and singing with abandon to rock music! I’ve had multiple spiritual awakenings (all of which first appeared as breakdowns and followed profound loss) beginning in 2007, shortly after I got sober in 2006. My boyfriend relapsed and died on Easter Sunday, 2007. I had another one in 2015 after moving across the country and suffered an identity crisis and yet another one in 2018 after my cousin overdosed and died, followed by my brother’s overdose and death four months later. The last one cracked me wide open to three years of deep healing and led me to the work I do today. My mission is to help people return to unconditional love and light with radical self-worth and unapologetic authenticity by healing their grief (all kinds, especially pain caused by generational family dysfunction) with wholehearted connection to themselves, others, and the universe. I focus my message on the idea that once we self-actualize into our highest state of being after going through the dark and emerging into the light, nothing can shake us. We can exist in the world untethered to others behaviors and actions and maintain high frequency energy, which I believe holds the power to heal the collective.
