In 2014, I created Struck Inside Out, a platform dedicated to sharing personal stories, reflections, and resources that help individuals navigate life’s challenges. What began as a private journal quickly grew into a community where people can find solace, inspiration, and the courage to embrace their own journeys of self-discovery and healing.
Growing up, I often felt deeply connected to my emotions, which I once viewed as a weakness. Today, I embrace this sensitivity as one of my greatest strengths. When I began sharing content through Struck Inside Out, I was touched by the positive feedback from readers who found relief in knowing they weren’t alone in their struggles. Many shared how the stories resonated deeply with their own experiences, offering them a sense of connection and belonging. It became clear that by opening up about our challenges, we create a space for others to feel seen and supported.
Over the past decade, I’ve also become a certified life coach with ten years of experience in coaching, guiding individuals through their personal growth journeys. My work has been featured in Best Self Magazine, Thought Catalog, and Elite Daily. I’ve led writing workshops, created a mastermind group with inspiring women, launched a podcast, collaborated with brands, and became a meditation teacher on Insight Timer. Most recently, I published my first book, Struck Inside Out: Essays, Meditations, and Poetry to Help You Heal Heartbreak, Embrace Change, and Love Yourself, in 2022.
My mission is to uplift and inspire you to embrace your truest self. I hope that through working with me, you feel encouraged to explore new ways of being, while embracing and loving yourself through every step of the process.
I truly believe that when we seek beauty in our everyday lives, we create a world filled with purpose and meaning.

A friend strongly recommended this book because I’ve been going through tough times from a recent breakup. I’ve tried talking about my woes to close family members and friends and I even went to therapy for the first time. None of it worked. The last place I thought I’d find solace was a book of poetry and prose, but after reading about Danielle’s experiences and how she coped with similar grief and evolved into a more enlightened, complete individual, I know that there’s hope for me. I’m not a big reader and I’ve had difficulty completing books in the past, but Struck Inside Out is such an easy read that you can put it down at one part and pick it up at another and feel like it’s one continuous flow. Danielle has such an intimacy and vulnerability in her writing, that I felt like I was experiencing her emotional struggles first hand. I’d even go as far to say that if I was able to be a fraction as self-reflective as her in my previous relationships, that they would’ve been successful. I recommend this to anyone who isn’t a big reader like me or who has difficulty getting over heartbreak. It has helped this broken man start to heal and it can do the same for you.
I usually read books like this with a highlighter, marking sentences that resonate with me on an emotional/intellectual level, or just highlighting language written so beautifully that I know I’ll want to revisit it. That said, my copy of Struck Inside Out practically glows in the dark now. Every page contains something worth holding onto and remembering as I go about my day. The book doesn’t read like some self-help guru who has it all figured out. It reads like a heart-to-heart with a friend who is figuring it all out WITH YOU, offering solace and encouragement along the way. Danielle’s writing isn’t just beautiful, its “I’m gunna put this book down for a sec and let that wash over me” kind of beautiful, and the self-love the emanates from the pages will inspire you to start looking at yourself, the road that got you here, and the journey ahead, all with love and compassion. A must read.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve ordered a book, read the first few pages and have never read it again, simply because I knew I didn’t have the patience to consume it all. And here I am now realizing this book is everything you’d want to latch onto without getting out of bed on a Saturday morning or like being in the mindset of flipping through the latest New Yorker magazine on a Sunday afternoon. It’s so easy to fall in love with Danielle the writer and the ‘soft blooms’ of each of her stories. I find myself wrenching at that cold feeling of her describing the end of a relationship. As a highly sensitive person I find myself setting the book down for a moment. But then in the next paragraph, her hopes for a brighter future take you by the hand and her attitude of persistence tells you that it’s somehow all about the journey. I never felt I would find myself so knee deep in a book but so able to easily close it but then open it to an entirely new place or page of my own choosing. It’s how books should be sometimes. This book has definitely exceeded my expectations because I didn’t expect to so easily understand the person writing it. She’s not that far away at all. The way she put ‘Poems On Love And Loss’ near the end of the book felt so perfectly bittersweet and empathetic to the reading journey I\’d already been on. It was like we’d been on this journey together. I don’t think Danielle even realizes how she projects herself through her own words so well. Maybe I wish I had the same vulnerability with bravery. I feel like she’s accomplished so much emotionally in her adventures already in life. I am in awe of her, she feels the same way I’ve felt after some of my own experiences and it’s simply a joy to think of this book as a diary of their life that a close friend willingly shares with you.
This book was beautifully written, captivating, inspirational, and relatable. Danielle is such an amazing influencer and helps me everyday with her daily insight, motivation and positive energy. Struck Inside Out was the perfect read, and helped me so much through my own journey to find self love. Danielle is such a beautiful woman and writer and I’m so grateful to have read Struck Inside Out. I love how any page you turn too, is somehow always exactly what I needed to hear. I have began reading it again, and love it just as much as the first time. Thank you Danielle, you make such a tremendous difference in this world.
This book is perfect for those of us who didn’t have that older sister advice growing up. Every short story, poem, and reflection provide a wonderful sense of comfort where you feel free to process your thoughts and reflect on your life perspective without judgement. I would highly recommend anyone in their 20s to read this book, especially if you feel like you are behind or not mature enough to be considered a “real adult”. This book is like a deep, slow breath that helps calm down the chaos of life. I will continue to recommend this book to everyone I meet because I believe that there is at least one passage in this book that will leave a lasting impact on anyone who reads it.
