Katie has such a welcoming, calming presence. From the moment I walked into the workshop I felt at ease even in a room full of mostly strangers. We did a short meditation and breathwork at the beginning that really just set the tone for the whole workshop. It felt relaxed and comfortable. Katie created a wonderful safe space for us all to be vulnerable and share what we have learned and hope to learn on this journey.
I don’t know how you keep up with it all!! Thank you so much for helping me navigate the fun part of the journey! You’re the best and a wealth of wisdom!!! I love how you echo something that was said and turn it into something so laughable. What a blessing that you came into my life right at the onset of this. Equipping me with the right gear to travel lightly (no booze) on the “road less traveled”!!! I feel so serene and I’ll be ever grateful for all your knowledge and loving support!
XOXO
The sober curious workshop helped me open my eyes to the various ways women are struggling and also thriving on their sober curious journeys. I really enjoyed hearing each persons tips and tricks for managing sticky situations.
Thank you so much again Katie. This has been such a huge and important journey for me and thanks to you I feel like I can face things I would have otherwise missed completely.
I entered Dry January afraid of what I might lose by “giving up” alcohol. The unknown can be so scary and you stood by my side the entire month and cheered me on. Every. Single. Day. You helped me to understand all that I would be “giving up” by cutting alcohol out of my life. I gave up hangovers, headaches, stomach issues, anxiety, lack of focus, lack of confidence. I gave up regretting how I acted the night before, regretting the things I would never have said if I hadn’t drank so f*%$#@ much, the self-loathing, the “why can’t I just STOP?!”, the entire weekends wasted because I could barely function, the fear of what was coming for me down the road if I continued down the path I was on. I gave up thinking I needed POISON to wind down, relax, socialize, or be happy. You opened my eyes to a different way of viewing my relationship with alcohol and created a safe space where I could explore my thoughts and bounce ideas off of you. You helped me step out of a very dark place, and into the light. What I gained from working together is a very bright future filled with hope, health, and happiness.
I just wanted to thank you for allowing me to be a part of the group. It was invigorating. I could have listened to your Mother all night. Your Mother’s gentle voice, coupled with her wisdom was a special gift to me! You are such a great facilitator! I so appreciate you encouraging me and all the others to share!! It was also wonderful to be part of something new….awakened living! Thanks for letting me share. Talk to you at our session!! You’re the best!!!
Wow! What a great month we had! I really enjoyed you so much. An opportunity to be real with no judgement. It was amazing! I can’t tell you enough how thankful I am for you. Your support and encouragement was life changing. I believe that the seeds we sow in this life are the harvest we reap. Continue to sow good seeds! Thank you for my package, I’m in love with everyone and that soap smells SO GOOD! Drained to Drenched, how perfect! I hope this is just the beginning for us! So much love!
Good morning!!! Thank you for the links!! I love the book recs, adding all to cart! On this last day of January I am so excited to start Dry February, I actually cried on my way to work yesterday because I felt overwhelmed with some emotion I can’t even name. I had a thought about all that I have gained and all that I can accomplish now that I’m sober and I just started crying. I have given myself the most spectacular gift. Of course, tin hat conspiracy nerd in me thought “they want us all to be subdued so we don’t succeed and thrive and rise against all that is wrong with this world!!
I feel so proud of myself for getting this far and continuing on with my alcohol free journey feels so good. It was only me getting in my own way and to not only say the words but also take the action is the best feeling of all! I always told myself I’d like to quit drinking and I hated the way it made me feel and how it made me sick (in so many ways). Without alcohol in my way I’ve been able to really focus on my self healing and do shadow work that I could not have dreamed of doing with a drinking habit.
Good morning! I just read an article on “hangxiety” and all the nasty side effects of drinking too much the night before. The whole “anxious all day, headache, sour stomach, need greasy food” just made me feel so sad for myself pre-dry journey. My weekends were usually hangxiety central and I can feel that queasy, dizzy, awful feeling just thinking about it. I’d push myself to run errands, go out for lunch/dinner, etc. and feel so sad thinking about how I’d be driving to wherever and would ask myself “why did I do this to myself again” I wasted so much time feeling like shit. I’m so grateful for waking up this morning and feeling amazing. No headache, no anxiety, nothing but optimism and love for this beautiful Sunday!
I loved the importance placed on having a solid community, Katie included. I always thought I could just do things by myself, and that is why it took me so long to take this step. Now that I know what it feels like to talk to someone and open up, I wouldn’t want it any other way!
I also learned about how important it is to see the whole picture instead of just focusing on one aspect of wellness.
Working with Katie has been an absolute joy! Even though we worked through some very painful, emotional, and difficult changes in my life I always felt completely supported by Katie throughout my sober curious journey. When we first started working together I was drinking almost every single day, deeply unhappy in my personal life, and getting sick often from my weakened immune system after drinking so often on top of stress, lack of sleep, and improper nutrition. Throughout our journey working together I was able to successfully leave an unhealthy relationship, quit drinking alcohol, and get back on top of my health goals. Without alcohol holding me back I’ve been able to focus my energy on taking care of my mental, physical, and spiritual health. I am truly grateful for the work Katie does, she has helped me through so much!
I started this morning being so grateful. My cousin is here and has been drinking white claws everyday and I haven’t touched a drop! I was up until 12am last night which is super late for me. But I was thinking this morning, “I would have gotten up later and would feel like total shit right now even if I had 2-3 and were up that late. I would have been irritable with my kids and not productive.” I love not being hungover. I love that I can still have fun and be myself without needing the drink. It’s just been so nice.
Working with Katie, I gained insight around substituting nonalcoholic drinks, will power and having someone ask me questions about my backup plans to ensure I don’t drink. I really enjoyed listening to the brain impacts of drinking. It helps me understand the neurological benefits associated with staying sober, even at social gatherings.
Working with Katie has been an absolute blessing. I’ve struggled with drinking for many years, but it was never bad enough to make me want to stop completely. After 6 months of Sober Curiosity, I have finally managed to stop altogether, and I feel wonderful! Katie has helped me tune into my inner knowing and make choices that are aligned with my heart and goals. She gave me great recommendations for what to read and offered tools to navigate the early days of sober living. I’ve started making art again, my relationships have grown closer and my mood is stable and grounded. I have so much more time and energy now that I don’t drink at all – it’s amazing, and all thanks to Katie! ( :
I found Katie through her insightful (and amusing!) Instagram posts – when we started to work together, I was already 6 months into my alcohol-free life but the initial thrill of committing to sobriety was waning and the underlying #$%& that I had been avoiding through my drinking was starting to feel very heavy. Katie affirmed that this was a normal part of the process and continued to help me through all the bumps along the way. Katie was supportive and intuitive, and our calls left me feeling recharged and realigned. As the weeks progressed, she kept me honest with goals and provided exposure to different types of thought-work and useful tools. Through my time with Katie, I have been able to solidify my commitment to sobriety and lay the groundwork for a future that feels more aligned with my inner being.
A few months into my sober curious life, I found Katie and her course. Her course was a perfect compliment to my sober path. She guides you to mindfully lean into life and take a look at habits we have developed and why; all while making you laugh out loud. Her energy and perspective is contagious!
Signing up for the Sober Curiosity program has been my proudest moment of the past year. I recently found myself in a very depressive state. I felt like I wasn’t living intentionally, and was caught in this survival mindset which caused a lot of anxiety. For 8 weeks, Katie created a safe space for me to become a co-creator in my life. Katie has incredible compassion and radiates positivity that truly empowers you to value yourself first. The course material is extremely informative. Each week I learned something new that made a stronger connection to why I started this journey in the first place. I’m ending the program with a higher sense of confidence, and feel in command of more genuine interactions. I’m so grateful to Katie and am excited to continue working with her as I focus on ‘protecting my progress’!
Sober Curiosity is a great program! I’d highly recommend to anyone considering reducing or eliminating their alcohol intake. Personally, I felt my alcohol intake was out of check causing me to do things that weren’t my true self and often times living in regret after long nights of drinking. Katie’s program is the perfect combo of education, 1:1 sessions, suggested reading and she is great at monitoring your progress towards your goals. After completing the program, I am a lot more mindful of my drinking & just feel better with a whole different level of focus on the many priorities and goals in life. Thank you Katie!
I just wanted to express my gratitude to you for what you have done in starting my journey. I’m 11 months sober (one hiccup) and I’m headed to a meditation class at this moment. I wouldn’t have gotten here had it not started with you! Thank you!
After being tossed around the medical system with no clear answers to my health issues, finding Katie was such a relief! She was so thorough with my health plan and explained everything in a way that finally made sense to me. Most importantly, her guidance and encouragement helped me implement necessary changes in my life and led me on the path to recovery! Thank you Katie!
After a three-week round of antibiotics, my gut was seriously messed up. Months went by like this (Let’s just say things were *not* solid), and I finally reached out to Katie for help. Katie was able to find the right combination of probiotics (I had no idea the strain of probiotics made a difference), and with her help I’m regular again! My only regret is that I didn’t seek out Katie’s expertise sooner – she’s a wealth of knowledge and I’m overjoyed to be back in business!
This program allowed me to take a beat and reflect on my relationship with alcohol over the last 10 years- and really consider how I want that relationship to look for the next 10 years and onward. Katie’s approach was incredibly informative while still feeling relatable and easy to process. I feel stronger and more capable in my decision making processes pertaining to drinking. As an added bonus I lost 10 lbs during the program!
Her calm and kind nature may belie her focused energy and exceptional attention to detail, but perhaps what impressed me most about Katie is that she does indeed possess a rare combination of peacefulness, composure, commitment, and diligence.
I went to Katie seeking help to increase my energy levels, how to live a more healthy lifestyle, and tips on weight loss. We set up easily attainable weekly goals that I was able to stick to! She’s provided me with so many resources and information that I will keep on my fridge forever. Over the last 3 months, I’ve noticed increased energy on a more consistent basis and my overall eating habits have improved tremendously!! Katie taught me that being healthy is so much more than diet and exercise; it’s about so many different aspects of life that I had never taken into account before. I feel like a truly well rounded individual now more than ever.
I found the course so enjoyable to follow along each week! I honestly looked forward to each new week and all that came with it. I learned so much awesome information about overall health and well-being that went way beyond my “Sober Curiosity”! It almost seemed like Katie read my mind with all the resources she provided to go along with each weekly lesson. The homework kept me motivated, excited and thinking about my goal and how to naturally integrate everything into my lifestyle. Overall I really appreciate how Katie’s empowered me to feel comfortable continuing the conversation at large about why alcohol doesn’t have to be the “social norm”.
Katie’s Sober Curiosity program is a very comprehensive program for exactly that…questioning every aspect of your drinking. Katie has a very comfortable style where she presents a deep well of information on how alcohol affects your body, mind and spirit. She also candidly shares her own journey with alcohol. I was amazed at everything I learned. Her desire to help and facilitate the best in others is palpable.
Katie gave me all the support I needed and more in order to move towards my goal of not drinking alcohol. While unearthing what compelled me to drink I realized how deeply unhappy I was with my marriage and how ready I was to take action. Despite being ready to take action I did not know where to start first and felt unequipped to manage these major changes on my own. With Katie’s support I was able to leave my unhealthy drinking and relationships behind and move towards a healthier life. Having someone to talk to about who knew how to be supportive, encouraging, and who could offer helpful resources such as reading material really helped me get through a very difficult time in my life.
I initially reached out to Katie to help me stick to my sobriety and be held accountable. I didn’t realize that I would gain so much more than just a sober life through working with her. SHE DIGS DEEP! But in a very gentle way, pointing you and guiding you in the right direction. My sobriety was exhausting at times but she ALWAYS had me laughing and eased me into setting good intentions that were actually attainable and not overwhelming!!! I honestly don’t think I would have actually done the hard stuff without her and would not be in this mindset without having her support!! She is incredible and I would do it all over again and again! It’s not just sobriety support it is a lifestyle change that she helps you achieve and I am forever grateful for her sparking that fire to actually live and manifest the life I want again.
Katie’s coaching style is down to earth and comfortable. She has the ability to “read the room” and adapt her approach accordingly. Whether it be through use of humor, sharing of her own experience or simply silence, she seems to know what the individual participants or group as a whole needs. I felt heard, refreshed and relaxed after my experience with Katie. Identifying those specific things that may be a barrier to my well being was empowering. Highly recommend!
I felt like a queen, with every aspect of my emotional, spiritual, physical, energetic body being attended to and nourished
Working with Katie over the past 3 months has changed my life! I’ve been able to open my eyes and see a whole other side to living, the bright and shiny side! Not only has she inspired me to live a clean and sober life. she has also inspired me to start my own business in the coaching space so I can also help others the way she helped me. If you are looking for change, she’s got the recipe!
THANK YOU KATIE!!
About a year and a half ago I found Katie on social media and decided to reach out to her. I had just had a big party and drinking summer behind me and felt like my choices were in no way reflective of my values and personality. This was the best thing I ever did and I truly do not think I would have ever been able to get so far without her help! She made me recognize that it was never about the alcohol and together we peeled back all the layers beneath this habit. I learned something new about myself in every session while Katie patiently reminded me time and time again to not be so darn strict towards myself. She is determined to support her clients, even outside of the scheduled sessions through thoughtful messages, emails and I even received a in the mail! I recently went through a confusing and tricky life event and Katie was the first person I reached out to because I just knew she would understand me and point my nose back in the right direction. Katie is real, empathetic, caring, empowering and so passionate about what she does. I cannot say enough how much she has helped me in the past year and a half! Her ability to provide personalized support in a way that feels just right is truly amazing. I would recommend Katie to anyone who is ready to live a more authentic and fulfilled life! I am forever grateful!
I reached out to Katie during a time in my life when I was really unhappy and overwhelmed. I was also having physical symptoms from stress, anxiety and depression. I had been self-medicating with alcohol for a long time and it was really taking a toll on my mind and body. With Katie’s support, over the last 6 months, I have gotten to a place where alcohol is no longer a coping strategy and is no longer a daily activity. I don’t know what the future holds but I am now in a much better place to face real life challenges in my life that I did not feel equipped to handle 6 months ago. Working with Katie was exactly the push I needed to get back on track and start becoming the best version of myself that I can be. I still have not reached all the goals we have set out to achieve, but I have learned so much from the resources she chose to share and I have more confidence now to follow my own intuition and to put myself and my health first. All of my problems did not magically disappear without alcohol, but now I can cope much better and focus on healing what is really wrong. I am so grateful for the progress I have made with Katie’s help and 10 out of 10 would recommend that you give yourself a chance to change and find hope with this program. I never once felt judged or rushed during the whole process and just knowing that I had someone to fall back on made me feel really secure in this journey.
When I decided to try Sober Curiosity, I had already been sober for a year and a half and wasn’t sure how much I stood to gain from it. I just felt directionless, and could tell I was still using unhealthy coping mechanisms to escape from my life. I am so happy that I decided to give it a shot, because I can honestly say working with Katie and doing this program was one of the most empowering and enlightening experiences I’ve ever had and I would happily do it all over again. Katie is such a phenomenal source of support and insight. She creates such a positive, judgement-free space for honesty and growth, and she just makes the whole process so much fun. When we started, I didn’t have any idea what I wanted beyond just a more fulfilling and happy life and even that felt out of reach. But every week I felt like I learned something groundbreaking that would allow me to continue to grow beyond just eliminating alcohol. Katie has given me the knowledge and tools that I need to feel completely confident in creating a life that I don’t feel the need to escape from. Regardless of where you are at with your relationship with alcohol, Sober Curiosity is something that I truly believe many people can benefit so many people just like it did for me and I cannot recommend it (or Katie) enough.
Katie is truly one of a kind. Her sober curious sacred circles are so beautiful. She has carefully curated a lovely evening between likeminded women where we can all share our thoughts and feelings as we navigate sobriety in our lives. It was such a lovely experience. In a world where alcohol is constantly in our face it’s nice to know there are people out there who want more from life and want to make genuine connections. This is what Katie helps provide in such a fun and relaxed way.
I loved my experience in Katie’s yurt! I will absolutely be back for more sober-curious events. I am definitely more on the ‘curious’ side than the ‘sober’ side, but I didn’t feel weird or bad that I haven’t made the choice to go sober. There were women at different stages of life and sobriety, some who were under 100 days, some who quit easily almost by accident, some who have struggled to keep alcohol out of their lives, some with years of sobriety, and some like me just hoping to build a community and learn more about the booze-less lifestyle. I learned a mocktail recipe and got recommendations for other products in the n/a beverage space. This is a welcoming, vulnerable, impactful event that I have already recommended to friends and family!
Katie truly put together such a sacred place for us women to feel comfortable and vulnerable to open up about being sober/sober curious. The laughs and honesty that comes out is so relieving and I look forward to each and every one of them. Thank you Katie for creating a community for strong ass women to come together and thrive. You have a heart of gold and your circles hold a special place in my heart!!
Miss Katie Campbell! Once again you hosted one of the most lovely nights I didn’t know I needed so badly! Your creativity and focus for each Yurt Circle continues to hit the nail on the head and brings me so much peace and new knowledge. Your yurt circles have become a sacred safe space for me and I am so grateful for you for sharing your space. I love seeing friendly faces and also new ones. It is so reassuring to find like minded women and learn from others during this journey. So thank you once again for being you, you are a rockstar!
Thank you, Katie for holding an amazing sober curious circle in the magical yurt. From start to finish I felt safe. You and the yurt offered a space to feel growth and transform from one evening of commune with like minded souls. The mindful mocktails, epic thunder storm and beautiful meditation – it was perfect. It left me uplifted and it was truly healing to share space with fellow women who are going through powerful transformations – the yurt was also healing in a child like sense, the thunderstorm was the cherry to a truly memorable evening. Looking forward to the next event!
Katie Katie Katie you truly outdid yourself! That was soooo incredibly inspiring and uplifting. It’s so nice to be around others on their own journeys and everything was beautiful, I needed this. The breathwork with the reiki was so relieving and I noticed a lot coming up when talking about shame – I got very emotional but in a great freeing way. Thank you SO much, I can’t wait for the next one you are a bright light my lady!
I felt so heard and not alone. Hearing from all the other women on the same path I am on gave me such reassurance that I was in the right place at the right time. The voices in my head and the heavy feeling in my heart felt calm and I feel more empowered to take the steps I need so I can continue my sobriety journey.
My experience at my first Sober Curious Yurt Circle was rejuvenating, fulfilling, harmonious, and soul-quenching. Katie was so inviting and accommodating, which made me feel comfortable right away. Feeling welcome also allowed me to open up pretty quickly with the other women at the circle. The aesthetic of the yurt and beautiful garden that surrounded us set the perfect ambience and helped me to tap into my mind and body almost instantly. Introducing ourselves, then journaling/responding to a prompt, and then discussing our thoughts with our neighbor was a simple and low-stress way for us to all feel more connected and tap into our deeper selves as we related to the theme at hand. It was both individually and collectively introspective and thought-provoking, helping me understand myself and the women around me on a more profound level. It all felt very sacred and special from the moment I stepped into the garden – like I could tell something very cool was about to happen, and it absolutely did!
I loved the whole flow of the event, coming by myself and it being my first event like this I was a little nervous if I would feel comfortable to share or how it would go, but starting with breathwork then leading into a meditation and connecting our energy through it was truly an amazing feeling and personally really allowed me to feel more connected and open to the women there. I would love to participate in more events like these for sure. Loved every bit of it.
