~ Offerings ~ Integrative Breathwork (Online & In-Person)
Breathwork is a potent, safe and natural process which utilizes specific patterns of conscious connected breathing to access our innate potential for growth and healing – physically, emotionally and spiritually. It opens our essential capacity to experience each moment of life as pregnant with possibility. While breathing in this way, life energy is intensified, deepening connection to what is most essential on both a personal and transpersonal level. This energy can also release physical, emotional and mental blocks and facilitate altered states of awareness. Each breath becomes an opportunity for self-nourishment and the release of unconscious barriers to fully experiencing life and expanding consciousness.
Every breathwork session is unique for each person. Many different transformational experiences can manifest while breathing, including resolution of tension, anxiety and pain in the body, dissolution of long-standing patterns of self-limitation, experiences of inner spaciousness and altered states, healing of both personal and generational trauma, expansive awareness of one’s gifts and the pathways for expressing them, and a profound connection with the spiritual dimension of life. The very least that every person experiences is a profound sense of aliveness.
Grof (holotropic) Breathwork (In-person only)
Grof ® (holotropic) Breathwork is an experiential method of self-exploration and psychospiritual healing and evolution originally developed by Stan and Christina Grof at the Esalen Institute. This approach induces deep “holotropic” (moving toward wholeness) states of consciousness through a combination of conscious connected breathing, evocative music, and special bodywork that helps to release residual bioenergetic and emotional blocks. It combines and integrates various elements from modern consciousness research, depth psychology, transpersonal psychology, Eastern spiritual philosophies, shamanism and other native healing practices in order to utilize the extraordinary healing power of holotropic states – which ancient and native cultures have used for centuries or even millennia in their ritual, spiritual, and healing practices.
These sessions provide access to biographical, perinatal, and transpersonal domains of the unconscious and thus to deep psychospiritual roots of emotional and psychosomatic disorders. It also makes it possible to utilize the mechanisms of healing and personality transformation that operate on these levels of the psyche. The process of self-exploration and therapy in holotropic states of consciousness are spontaneous and autonomous and are governed by your inner healing intelligence of the psyche and body.
Although the sessions are usually conducted in groups, I also offer individual sessions. Typically, you will breathe for 2.5 to 3 hours. Following the breathing, you will be invited to express your experience by drawing or painting a mandala and sharing accounts of your journey. If necessary, we’ll schedule additional time to facilitate the completion and integration of the breathwork experience.

I am trained in Integrative Breathwork, Grof (holotropic) Breathwork, Therapeutic Breathwork, Coherent Breathing, and Grof Psychedlic Assisted Therapy. I am also a certified meditation teacher and have studied, practiced, and taught numerous meditation and transformational techniques over 45 years, including Vipassana, Transcendental Meditation and the TM Sidhi program, Zen, and Kriya Yoga. I’ve also studied Archetypal Patterns with the Assisi Institute and done extensive study of the Enneagram with the Enneagram Institute.
Following a two-decade career as a real estate and construction executive, I had an epiphany regarding the destructive impacts of our economy, and I ejected from that life to focus on systems change. I was fortunate to serve a central role in three large movements in the U.S. and abroad and, through those experiences, recognized that the true catalyst for change is the inward journey and the evolution of consciousness… Awakening.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Sandy 1:1 for almost an hour and was deeply moved by both his presence and story. As someone who was able to successfully unplug from the hooks of the corporate matrix and pivot into more authentic and conscious doing, I have deep respect for this man and am looking forward to witnessing his contributions in our community.
